The Foreman is currently operated by Tom Wood as a sole trader, trading as "The Foreman" ("we", "us"). This policy explains what data we collect through the WhatsApp assistant and this website, why, and what your rights are.

What we collect through WhatsApp

When you use The Foreman, we store the information you give it in order to run your quotes and invoices:

• Your business details — business name, trade, email, address, logo, bank details, VAT number and payment terms, as much or as little as you choose to set up.
• Your customers' details — name, phone number, email and address, where you provide them so a quote or invoice can be generated.
• The quotes, invoices and jobs you create — line items, prices, statuses (sent, paid, overdue) and the PDFs generated from them.

We only use this to generate your documents, track your jobs and payments, send your daily briefing, and produce your earnings reports when you ask for them. We don't use it for anything else, and we don't sell it to anyone.

Your customers

The Foreman never contacts your customers directly. Customer details you give it are used only to build documents for you to send yourself — your customers never know The Foreman exists unless you tell them.

Who else handles this data

We use a small number of service providers to run The Foreman:

• Meta / WhatsApp — carries the messages between you and The Foreman.
• Twilio — delivers WhatsApp messages via their Business API.
• Railway — hosts our database (business, job and invoice records).
• Supabase — stores your logo and generated PDF files.

Each of these only sees what's needed to do their part of the job. We don't share your data with anyone else, and we never sell it.

How long we keep it

We keep your data for as long as you're using The Foreman. If you'd like your data deleted, email hello.theforeman@gmail.com and we'll action it.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you can ask us to access, correct, or delete the data we hold on you at any time — just email hello.theforeman@gmail.com.

Cookies on this website

This site (the marketing page you're reading now, separate from the WhatsApp assistant itself) uses cookies once you accept them via the banner shown on your first visit:

• Google Analytics — to understand how many people visit the site and how they use it.
• Meta Pixel — to measure the performance of our Facebook/Instagram ads.
• Metricool — social media and traffic analytics.

None of these load until you accept. You can change your mind at any time using the "Cookie Settings" link in the footer.
